Below is my master list of recommended hotels, bungalows, and guesthouses on Agoda. I only recommend hotels rated 8.5 / 10 and under $75 / night (mostly all season, though some hotels may raise prices during their respective “high” season). I try my best to keep this list updated, so I apologize if any hotels on this list have dipped below an 8.5 score, or are now more than $75; or are no longer in existence! Phuket Town – Book a Bed Poshtel – 3 min walk to Old Town / Sunday Walking Street Market! There is also a small outdoor night market from 4:30pm – 10:30pm right out front of the hotel.
Patong Beach – Big Boys’ Bed & Burger – 1 min walk to Patong Beach and main beachfront road with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops; 4 min walk to Bangla Road!
Karon Beach – JonoX Phuket Karon Hotel – 4 min walk to Karon Beach! Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Karon Night Market just 1 km away.
Kata Beach – Sugar Ohana Poshtel – Right on main Kata Beach road, 10 min walk to beach or 2 min motorbike ride, lots of restaurants, shops, and bars nearby.
Nai Harn Beach – Number 4 Apartment – 1 min walk to 7-11, 3 min walk to Nai Harn Lake, 15 min walk to the beach or 2 min motorbike ride.
Yanui Beach (Budget) – Sense of Yanui – 3 min walk to Yanui Beach, home of the best totally free snorkeling in all of Phuket! (if you have your own mask, snorkel, and are a strong swimmer!)
Yanui Beach (Mid-Luxury) – Ocean Pie Phuket (Adult Only) – 4 min walk to Yanui Beach, home of the best totally free snorkeling in all of Phuket! (if you have your own mask, snorkel, and are a strong swimmer!). This hotel is under $75 per night only during the low season (approx. June – October)
Chalong – Happy Cottage Hotel – Located right in the middle of Soi Taed, Phuket’s main Muay Thai gym street! Has a pool and is easy walking distance to all gyms in this street.
Bang Tao Beach – Diamond Resort – Brand new entire 1 bedroom apartment with pool! 1 km to Bang Tao Beach.
Nai Thon Beach – Nai Thon Condo – Entire studio condo with pool, just 2 min walk to the beach!
Nai Yang Beach – Seapines & Liberg – 5 min walk to the beach, and very near to Phuket International Airport!
Maikhao Beach – Maikhao Beach Guest House – 5 min walk to the beach, and easy access to Phuket International Airport!
Koh Phi Phi
Koh Phi Phi Don, Main Town – P2 Wood Loft – 5 min walk to main pier and everything in main town, yet far enough away to have peace and quiet at night!
